I just recieved the 8th Army Rolls Armored Car. It is a lot bigger than I had anticipated but it is still such a jewel and I am thrilled to add it to my 8th Army motor pool.
But what really surprized me was that it came in a very generic WWII box,,,,,,,,normally (or at least with the pieces I have purchased previously) a vehicle has a unique box with a photo(s) of the vehicle on it. Not so with the Rolls. Any guesswork on why that may be the case with this piece?? Not a pressing need to know, only curious
Also, any feelings towards taking a razor saw to a perfectly good standing figure, sawing him in half for use in a turret??? I bought a 8th Army Vickers with the commander in the turget missing and keep looking at the the New Monty as a great start to a modification to replace the missing figure. I would include adding a set of headphones sculpted from modeling epoxy??
