I heard this song on a couple of You Tube videos by the Japanese painter of Aurora figures. I thought it was a Japanese singer doing English!
Aurora seems to think WW II was fought entirely by cute young women.

I wonder if the painter knows what the song is about?

"...."Army Dreamers" was the third and final song to be released from Never For Ever by Kate Bush. It was a UK top 20 hit in October 1980.
"Army Dreamers" was released on 22 September 1980 and peaked at number 16 in the UK Singles Chart.[1] The song is about the effects of war and about a mother who grieves for her young son, who was killed on military maneuvers. Saddened by his unnecessary death, she wrestles with her guilt over what she could have done to prevent it. The song is a change to previous works in that it features a Waltz time tempo and Bush sings the lyrics in an Irish accent...."
