I was just lucky enough to win a Recce Jeep & supply trailer from Brad on

Ebay. I was wondering if anyone knew what these two items were made from?

Are they early Polystone, resin, or what ever? I noticed on Bill Sager's site

that the original price was $192.

As this is my earliest Arnhem piece I am very interested to know.

A little help please, Louis, Gideon, Bill, Andy.......class...class anyone?

Thanks

The Arnhem Recce Jeep is metal. The trailer is resin and metal. They are very nice mid-1990's K&C production. All of the Arnhem Jeeps are metal except for the Para Jeep (which comes without figures), which is a wonderfully detailed wood and metal vehicle. Congrats on picking these up.

Why thank you Louis:

I am quite pleased to add them to my little Arnhem group....the boys were

tired of walking. I told Brad I'm about to put "A Bridge To Far" in for a little

late night entertainment.

Great cast! Love the scene with James Caan and the surgeon.

Today is hot so it will be Arnhem movie day. My favorite also. Wife gone this week so I can watch movies she don't watch. Longest Day last night. Kelly hero's , Patton, 12o'clock high on list. Check movie rental for a couple I don't have. Paths of Glory and Battleground on my list. Leadmen

John, You ole goat you! Wife gone for a week! Sounds like paradise! Have fun, stay cool, do what you want.
Also, back to the topic, I saw all the Arnhem sets at OTSN in 2003.Loved them.Coulda had them at original retail from a guy selling off his entire collection. He must have had 1500 sets or more of , well every maker.I passed and bought Napoleonics. Big mistake but what did I know?

Leadmen,

Have fun! I know I seldom get the chance for such a great movie marathon at my house. ;) Seize the opportunity to indulge your movie passions while you have the time!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

I feel same way at Chicago. Remember I was on his floor looking at Arnhem sets together. I think he wanted $500 for whole series plus extras. Guess we were not rocket scientists that day. Too busy with napoleonics and other things. He sure had a big collection. We missed the boat. No one else was even looking except us. Like the movie Girls Gone Wild, this week will be me doing my thing. John

I just saw that an ebay auction for AN 001, Battle for the Bridge, went for $500, higher than the usual price for this item. A little too high in my view. But, whatever.

And a AK25 at $204,52:eek:

Pierre.

It looks like the certificate brings a bit more $$$ to the auction. I just noticed it was signed by two of the Para's that fought there.

Really nice touch, and a great addition to your collection.
