Hey Andy had a thought, remember the Assassination of Heydrich set? It was full of movement and detail and the poses really brought the set to life!

Well what if K&C could produce something along the same lines for the MG range but instead of Heydrich's assassination it would be a model of General Kussin, the town commandant of arnhem lying out of his staff car door car with his head on the ground like the famous picture. The staff car would be riddled with bullet holes and have smashed windows and a flat front tyre. At the other side of the car his driver could be lying on the road beside the car.

There could be a para kneeling down searching the general while another keeps him covered?

Could make it a limited edition set!

Here's an example of a model...

I remember posting the picture of this event Scott and some thought it too graphic apparently, the top of his head was missing if I remember!:wink2:

A good idea though.

Maybe just some blood on his face Scott!

I believe he was actually scalped.... I will not post the pic as it is somewhat gruesome but I have provided the link for those with stronger stomaches

Yep, that's the one! I think some thought it too strong when I posted it, it is pretty graphic I must admit.

Been doing some reading about this, apparently the most likely explanation for the head wound is the fact that a bullet entered his neck at the front and shot up blowing his head apart...

What I know is that Heydrich died because of the tank grenade wounds thrown by one of the 2 attackers, and the second one tried to use his sten but was jammed.

Scott isn't talking about Heydrich, he's talking of another German officer killed at Arnhem.
