Hey, it's about time we had a sports thread going. As a Mets fan since 1962, when both the Mets and Astros joined the National League, I was pulling for the Astros. The other night I turned to my wife and said "You're about to see history made." Tonight I kept my mouth shut and history WAS made. So, congratulations to the Lone Star State and as a National Leaguer, I'll be pulling for you in the Series. Should be a great one, with some amazing pitching.

Has a life long White Sox fan who grew up near sox park I think it is time the Sox won the series- it has been a long wait. I did not desert the Sox when everyone else became Cub fans. Sox are the south side and Cubs north side- never even bothered going to cub game at Wrigly Field. GO SOX. Leadmen

Alex, me being from St.Louis, I have got to believe if you would track down all of Houstons pitchers, there great grandfather would be Cy Young.

Being an American League fan in the military is sometimes very hard as it seems that most of the Armys Posts are in or near National League towns. So since my team was eliminated I have to root for the Sox!
