Hi

has anyone found a load of old figures in a loft or attic or yard sale/carboot.

I used to find lots many years ago,but not much since the late 1990's when they seemed to dry up and then this week a good find came up out of the blue with a hefty load of early 1970's Britains Deetail figures in good complete condition for a few quid.

There must be 1000's of old figures out there in corners of attics/sheds/cellars etc... and nobody is enjoying them

keep searching
Dave

No, my wife is a big fan of yard sells and in the last couple years or so, we've gone to some estate sales, but I've seen train sets, doll houses, some great books - but no toy soldiers at any of them, or at the flea markets in my area. I know there were toy soldiers in the area because I picked up my last Marx sets down here in the late 70s, right before they sold out. But either none have survived or they are still hidden.

Happy for others when I hear of their finds - just wish I could stumble on some of my own.

No, but dang, I wish I had all those Marx playsets I had as a kid and sold for a dollar or two at garage sales! :(
