I have this really great stuff that was made in Mexico decades ago. They were sold along with Fontanini figures to create creche and manger scenes.

Well, they fit well with 1:30th scale figs and vehicles. They are made of chipboard, tree bark and lichen or some other planty type stuff. You can create roads, buildings, trenchworks, etc... You guys are the diorama

On the diorama subject I was just in the home depot and walked through the tile section when some 1ft by 1ft tiles caught my attension. They had various stone and rock textured self addhesive tiles that looked like they would be great to cut up for cobble stone roads walls ect. and at .50-$1.00 each are a cheap and fun project.
