G'day Mate, from Brisbane on a beautiful pure blue winter sky day! The city never looked better and it was great to meet up with some of the 'Brisbane Boys' for a visit to see some outstanding dios in the United Services Club at Victoria Barracks before a curry lunch at a pub nearby.
After lunch we moved over to Brett's Military Workshop to look around and spend some 'dosh' on some interesting additions to the personal collection and some Dio pieces for brother Gordon.
Earlier tonight we joined some more of the blokes for a buffet dinner at the local RSL and plenty of toy soldier talk as well...Tomorrow is another full day which will end up with the K&C/Miliary Workshop Dinner Event and Diorama Competition which will be a fun night...
More down the line but for now time to 'hit the sack!'...
All the best,
Andy.

Hi Andy

Glad you enjoyed Brisbane. Sydney is better.:D

See ya there.

Sounds like a quiet day for you. Probably pick up pace today. That Patton is dreamin again. Regards Sapper.

Sapper is sore as Queensland lost the State of Origin to the mighty Blues

Up here in Queensland there's more to do then watching football. I've got to get ready for 2 days of Andy's company. Go back to watching your State of Origin
replays. Regards Sapper

We have indeed more exciting and colourful plans for 'Napoleonics'...And don't worry we have no plans for additional 'Old Guards' at this time either...More details in a the fullness of time...If not sooner!
All the best and happy collecting,
Andy.

Great night in the river city with the company of Andy and the gathering of toy soldier collectors. Unfortunately never won any prizes in the diorama competition as the standard was outstanding. I did manage to chat with a lot of friends and really enjoyed the occasion. Regards Greg.

Glad you enjoyed the evening, Greg...It was a great gathering thanks to Brett and Gerelou of the Military Workshop!
The standard of the dioramas and the number and variety of them was, as you say, outstanding....Lots of skill and creativity on show...A terrific night and lots of new friends to meet and talk with.
Sorry you didn't win this year...but there's always next!
All the very best, mate and great to meet up in Brisbane...Tomorrow it's off to Sydney.
Andy.
