High Guys,

Would it not be nice to have in the near furtur in the K & C collection, and to go with this charming vehicle:
1. a couple of seated RAF pilots in full flying gear being driven to their aircrafts
2. a couple of seated 8th Army desert soldiers being taken to the battlefield
3.a couple of seated British ( or US )infantrymen to join the Normandy battle forces already existing in the collection
What do you think ?

It will be very interesting to see what happens on the ALU - with a limited production will they sell out ? If so - how fast ?

John Jenkins has done well for himself with limited productions of his Toy Soldiers - when his sets were at 250 - they were scooped up quickly - all the 500 & 750 sets are still available - which makes you wonder what is that magic number to have a sell out ?

I think Andy will find that smaller production runs will benefit him more in these economic times.

Historically - the Char B (FoB Tank) - caught him by surprise and another run was ordered with a different paint job and figure. Interesting enough the the fist Char B went quick and the second actually hung around on the shelves for a while.

All in all - we will see how collectors react to rising prices and a large number of different ranges to choose from in the K&C world. Will K&C focus narrow in time ? or is this mass production we are seeing with a variety of ranges going to hurt K&C competitors and push their market share back ? I mean there is only so much money people can or will spend on Toy Soldiers.

It is all very interesting and YES - we are so fortunate to have so many choices to choose from for our favorite hobby !
