Many thanks for your greetings and well wishes for our Australia Day. Yes, and before anyone does ask, I do have a sore head from over indulgence.
It was a great day around the BBQ yesterday. We in the lucky country have a lot to celebrate. I personally celebrated the fact that all my family and mates were in good health, the floods are subsiding and we as a country have a new VC winner. Many thanks to our boys in Afghastan and also to our allies fighting beside us as well.

It was a nice day but very hot felt like 40+ and that was at 10 in the morning .
Pics taken from the Australiana Pioneer Village {about 10 mins from my house }.
Anyway to hot for the wife and kids after 2hrs they wanted to go home and jump in the pool.
Not sure what these "heavy" Lighthorsmen were upto they just sort of kept riding around.
