Not sure if there'll be many of us but I'm curious as to what others may be thinking about the return of Rugby League. I'm no super-fan but I'm glad it's back on TV at least. It was all well and good to have time on my hands during the lock-down but no sport to watch was too much!

Now there's the new 'six-again' rule which is apparently meant to keep the game moving and reward the attacking team. I had thought it was also likely to reward the fitter team and I suspected an unintended consequence might be blow-out scorelines. After almost two rounds that appears to be the case. Apart from the tie last weekend and the Manly/Parramatta game yesterday - there's been no close games. Indeed, half the teams seem to have suddenly been unable to score at all?

Wasn’t aware of this rule change in the NRL and I don’t think there has been talk of it in Superleague which might start again next month.

I agree it does look like it will favour the fitter and faster teams so hopefully it won’t come over here as my team, Wakefield Trinity, aren’t the fittest and fastest!

i don’t get to see many live games as I now live down south and RL is very much a northern game (plus France and now Canada.......bizarre!)

As as an aside, on my “first date” with Mrs S in 1990 I took her to see Wakefield Trinity v. Castleford.....and they say romance is dead!

As far as the Broncos are concerned,I don't think the new rule has made any difference-they are just playing very badly.
