Any of you you guys in the UK/US seen this comedy musical?.Its like an adult (very adult actually)version of Sesame street,saw it in the west end last night.Hilarious,very funny and highly recommended.
Rob
Its basically about real life problems you have to deal with on a sesame type street.Its probably the most un PC thing i've ever seen!.Funny but not for the easily offended!
Rob
Yes i have seen it and loved it. I saw it with 2 of my cousins and my grandmother. She kept asking why everyone was laughing during the "Internet is for Porn song"
Now that is funny,you must have a very broad minded Granny to go see that!
Well she is but she didnt really know what it was about half the time. But she knew it was going to be bad when she decided to take us to "Muphets on Crack"(what the newspapers called it). And yes my entire family is very irreverent "You mistake me for some who gives a ****" Goke(my grandfather)
Yeah, my Mum's the same. I think as they get a bit older, a lot of ladies tend to drop that false modesty and you can have a lot of gentle irreverent fun with them. I can crack jokes with my Mum these days that I wouldn't have dreamed of 20 years ago.
BTW, the Brit version of that saying is;
"You're obviously labouring under the false impression that you're talking to someone who gives a $$$$" - well, you know what I mean.
Its usually used in a slightly sarcastic manner and isn't generally meant to give offense.
