Hi Guys,

Although it’s a little bit early for Christmas I thought I would share the pre production, ‘master painting’ of King & Country’s newest ‘Desert Village’ building in this case our ‘Desert Village Manger’.
For some time now, collectors of our ‘Life of Jesus’ range have asked us to design and produce a new stable / manger structure as an integral part of the Holy Family’s story. Well here it is in a few different stories… Hope you like them.
Look out for this building’s release in a few months time.

All the best,
Andy

Great edition, have the others, except for the Large Desert Temple and now quite rare and a hefty budget to secure one.

A new addition to Desert Village series. Once again the great thing about this structure is its ability to span over thousands of years from Ancient times to present day. Excellent Andy. Robin.

This looks great Andy and since I have many of the Desert Village pieces already, would fit in nicely.

This is a must have, so some juggling opens up a space for this Christmas gift. Robin.

Hi Robin,
a great reminder of my recent visit to your amazing ‘Man-Cave’…Thanks once more and all the best to you and all our friends in Adelaide and the rest of Australia.
Andy.

Hi Andy

The Manger is a fantastic addition to the Desert Village range.

In other threads you posted images of this model

and hinted that if you could find a factory or method to produce the model in one piece at a reasonable cost and selling price then you'd consider doing and hope for the best on the ‘shipping’ charges.

Do you have any further thoughts on this possibility?

Hi Rob,
thanks for the kind words and reminder…I am still looking and the search continues…
All the best, mate,
Andy.

Excellent piece in the pic, quite big and would be heavy, would be a monster to pack and a hefty cost to ship and post. Be a cost against manufacture, shipping and postage [am spilting the pair as shipping from HK to dealers and then posting from dealers to collectors] equation. Unless limited edition only direct from K & C HK.

Would look great as a modular series, designed to fit together but could be used seperately.

I would like to see some more of the French backdrop diorama shops etc. Possibly one in an inverted L shape to go in the corner of my cabinets or even some German or Battle of the Ardennes buildings.

Great job on the new release, looks useful across so many historical periods, one will be winging its way over to me, hopefully joining it a little later will be some new AK sets!!!! Noticed there are only 4 AK available on the K & C website.
