Thanks indeed for sharing; it seems incredible. Any idea what scales / manufactuers are represented?

I think most are 1:32
The circus I would guess is HO scale.

There are a lot of Britains figures in there, most of the animals are Britains

I think much of it is a lot smaller than 1:32 scale, based on the few scenes where a person's arm or hand is shown next to the dioramas. There is one of the WWI airfield where the hand is substantially bigger than the Sopwith Camel, so I suspect we are looking at 15mm to 25mm at biggest. Whatever the scale is, its amazing, and the people behind it even showed some humor in inserting live action shots of themselves into some of the pictures.

That scene is HO as the buildings on the left are the Vollmer farm buildings

I visited Miniature World about 10 years ago and the dioramas were mostly 54mm with Airfix and Britains Detail figures. The castle and the knights diorama was all Britains Detail figures. Some model kits and planes were also used. Might have been some HO but I remember the larger figures. Leadmen

Wow! Those dioramas must be freakin' enormous!!

I was visiting Victoria in 2005. The place was really cool, I think $10 canadian to get in. Mosty 1:32 scale. Worth the trip if you are in the area.

The first time I visited this museum was about 1973 and I had an opportunity to visit again 2 years ago. The museum had generally changed in that time span. When I had first visited, there were more military dioramas then there are today. I remember a Napoleonic Hougoumont diorama in 54mm using glossy metal figures. There was also, a huge War of Roses display with a sizable castle and a couple of hundred Britains swoppet knights. They also, had a D-Day diorama but, I don't remember the figures used for that except that they were 54mm. All the figures used for the Bull Run and Saratoga dioramas back then were either Britains swoppets or heralds. In my latest visit, I noticed that the Hougoumont, War of Roses and D-Day dioramas were gone and some detail figures were added to the Bull Run diorama. They also, have a Custer's Last Stand diorama using mainly Britains swoppets for Indians. Worth a visit if you are in the area.:)

Just visited Victoria BC a few weeks ago for kayaking and whale watching.
I toured the miniature world museum and it was very interesting.
As previously mentioned most figures were 1/32nd Britains, Timpo and Airfix.
Many of the plastic models and figures in the WWII dioramas were Tamiya.

The buildings and scenery are all custom made and quite good.
I will try to post some of my pictures for more details than their website.

Some amazing modeling, and really great site, too! The panoramic views made for good viewing of the dioramas.

Prost!
