I had a look at the pictures on TF and took off the figures i think have been released and we are due to receive in Nov 2020 and that leaves 2 Aztecs and 2 Spanish figure to be released. If I am incorrect then please let me know, as i am doing this for a bit of a self check. Really like this range, we have seen no updates on from JJ on TF on potential future releases so possibly John may take a bit of a break from this series to concentrate on the many many other great series which on the horizon for 2021. If there is a break that is fine with me, as have just been 'captured' by the Saxon and Viking ranges, big fan of the Bernard Cornwell series of books, Land Kingdom series on TV. Will therefore buy the series, so John gets my money one way of the other..........

Thanks for adding the picture of the mounted Cortes figure. I cannot put my finger on why, but i am not a great collector of Toy Figures/Soldiers of actual people [from any period], so i will probably pass on the Cortes and the Moctezuma figures. But thanks again for highlighting the Cortes figure.

interesting, I would lose half my collection if I took out my personalities across the series. {sm4} For me they represent the iconic part that identify the era. Not confident John intends to release the Temple and from memory there was going to be a second one slightly different as well. Needless to say the series could be seen as fairly complete at this time, if he decided to cool it. With John you never know, he is a master of surprises. Robin.

I think you are correct about the series being fairly comprehensively covered, I am still short 6 sets in the range so will pick them up in the next few months. I do not think I will get the temple, it will take up too much room and I do not have the 'height' in my cabinets. We shall see what John comes up with in the future, but he has a lot on his plate and there are some great figures/sets coming in 2021, I am looking forward to the Roman Marching Fort, Surveyors and Carriage. The new Panzer Is are excellent and there was a King Tiger [pre production] shown a while ago, which we will see at some point.

On collecting personalities, as i said, do not know why i am not into collecting them? Have a few from K & C, think i have 2 Napoleon figures and his generals, Wellington and Sergeant Ewart from K & Cs Nap range, the named knights from the MK range, plus the Battle of the Bulge named Germans, but none of the Film/TV related sets. I can see why people collect them and there is no right/wrong in this question, but as a collector, as with many other collectors, i can be a bit fickle and looking at the Cortes figure and i maybe be interested.

This is not a line that I collect but it is one that I admire from afar.

The painting, sculpts and action captured by the poses are among some of the absolute best in the hobby.

I totally agree, this was the first JJ series i collected, they are great figures, they are very individual looking figures and look great as a standalone figure and as a small group.
