I have just picked up 3 sets of Aztecs, AZ32/33/36. I still have a couple of the new 2 Spanish sets to pick up, but will get from Grey Goose in London at the show in Dec 21. I had a look at the picture John posted in early 2021 of the sets to be released and i think we are waiting on the following,
Aruebus and Crossbowman - the first kneeing loading and the second standing loading.
2 Pikemen - Both with straight Pikes, 1 at waist level and the other at shoulder level.

In the picture I have put a box around the 4 i think are yet to be released.

Not sure if there are Aztecs we are waiting to be released?

If anyone has spotted any more or i have highlighted something that has already been released? Please let me know.

This is an outstanding range, whether you have a medium to big sized grouping or just 1 or 2 in a small display they always look outstanding. I have also had them in a flat wall cabinet in a row and they look great and people have commented on how realistic they look.

The stairs have yet to be released also.
Apparently there are production/shipping delays.

Appears correct, I am still holding out for the temple. Robin.

I thought it looked good, but not really of interest to me, but makes me wonder where this series will go now? JJ are branching out into many new eras and series, i hope the range does not dry up.

See AZ-105. There are steps/stairs to be released.

I expect some casualties in the future.

And I'd be shocked if some casualties didn't emerge.
Looking forward to it all!

Hopefully there will be some fighting casualities, but do you think there will be some noe-fighting Aztecs for the temple? Maybe a religious/sacrifice scene? I would collect the fighting casualities but not the other, as will not have the temple etc.

I think it would be easy for JJD to do casualties: some common Aztecs (2), some Elites(2), and a couple of Spaniards (in which I'm not interested). They already did 2 sacrifice scenes, one w/a Spaniard and one with a Tlaxcalan/ally. There may also be Hand-to-Hand sets where one side is wounded and the other not. I see no reason why some of the casualties should not be fighting on.
Personally, I'd like to see a mounted Conquistador with a huge hound finishing off any Aztec. Just my pref.
Best Wishes to All & Happy 500th Anniversary of the Fall of Tenochtitlan!
Paddy
