I hope no one, including John, take offense to posting this question here but I was wondering how well the Morgan figures went with John's. Thanks.

I saw them at the Chicago Show at the Michigan Toy Soldier Table a few years ago...
they would match well in scale...
and the painting is more than adequate...
but seem almost static compared to John's poses...
in fact all the poses looked similar as I remember...
the poses were not near as dynamic as John's...
not as much of an action pose...
and I remember they were a bit pricey...
but not bad...
in my opinion...
I honestly think John's are better...
but i think they would work well together...

Thanks Mike. I can't recall ever seeing them but I wasn't paying attention either. I noticed that Michigan Toy Soldier seems to have a lot of them.

Brad...
they were on the ground floor...halfway between Nick/George's tables at the front entrance...to the back wall...on the left side...
he had about a dozen of them...I almost bought them...but am glad I waited...still...they match in scale...

I have quite a few of the Morgan Miniatures Aztecs and Conquistadors. The Aztecs are fairly compatible
but I don't have the JJD Conquistadors to compare yet.
Agree with Mike that JJD's sculpts are more varied and dynamic. Also, JJD pricing is more reasonable. For example
the new JJD mounted Conquistador is listed as $105 while my Morgan mounted figure was close to $200.
Its always good to have several sources for a range so choose what you prefer or mix them.

thanks for the photo comparison...
I think they match well enough...
I especially like your green snake in the background...^&grin

Thank you all. Abenaki, that looks like a nice collection ^&cool
