Cheers Forum Squadron Members,

Here is a great B-17 & B-25 video (link below) taken in November of 2010 over Saguaro Lake, Arizona-my home turf! Go to to full screen and enjoy the ride...

The photography is HD, the planes are gorgeous, and, most notably, it is shot as the B-17 takes off from Falcon Field (WW II training base & current GA airport that I have flown out of at least a hundred times and Commemorative Air Force Base) in Mesa, Arizona and then flies over the Superstition Mountains then on to the east of Apache Junction and then on to Roosevelt and Canyon lakes on the east edge of the Phoenix valley. The backdrops are stunning. Music is from the mini series John Adams.

Bombs Away,
Marc

Gorgeous aircraft in that high polish finish. Thanks for posting. -- Al

I took my son to the American Airpower Museum at Republic Field yesterday. We found ot they are having a B29, B17, and B24 for Memorial Day Weekend, and you can purchase flights in the bombers. I am going to take my son up in a B17 so we can both get at least feel for what my Uncle Joe experienced.
