After a short summer break (or in my case winter) John was back with some cracking new releases. I have another batch landing early next week and have ordered some of the latest recruits. It all seems quite relentless.

Great collection Gary!
John's work is truly amazing.
All your new toys are wonderful,l but I am a bit partial to the Saratoga sets.

Nice,

Thanks Larry. I have been into Thomas Gunn figures for quite a while but more spare cash going on John's stuff at the moment as the various lines are a little more appealing. I would have expected nothing less Larry with your passion for all things AWI.

Second parcel has arrived with some really nice mid republican Romans and a smart wooden fort gatehouse. Next parcel on its way.

A few more flew in this week. Nice figures. I wonder how many JJD figures are in New Zealand?

How many figures in NZ, I would say around 500, of which 10 are owned by others. The pick for me are the mounted War of the Roses, hopefully also galloping my way. Robin.

I fear that you are probably right.

Good bet that Gary is JJD's No.1 customer in New Zealand !

And Thomas Gunn's as well :salute::

Some more JJD stuff flew in to NZ this week. Edging TG as my favourite manufacturer at the moment - but only just!

Beautiful pics, Gary. They really show off the figures.

Just can't get enough of these JJD figures, I still wonder if John ever goes to sleep!
The new Punic War series will be awesome!

Very nice Gary! Love both the photos and your collection.

I am currently enjoying JJ's Saratoga series as well. This range is well sculpted and has a good variety.
