Balaklava Cavalry Regiments. (1 Viewer)

Yo Troopers, at last have all the British Cavalry Regiments for Balaklava, plus Russian Infantry, Russian Artillary, Lord Carigan, Lord Raglan, Lord Lucan, Capt Nolan, & Billy Britain Lord Cardigans bugler from the 17th Lancers. Had to cut photo's down to get them all in so from left to right its, the Russians, then 11th Hussars, 17th Lancers, 13th Light Dragoons. 2nd Row 4th Light Dragoons, 8th Hussars. 3rd row the Heavy Brigade, 2nd Dragoons Royal Scots Greys, 6th Inniskilling Dragoons. 4th row 4th Royal Irish Dragoons, The 1st Royal Dragoons, 5th Dragoons. and last row French 4th Chasseurs d'Afrique. The only Regiment missing from my Balaklava scene is the 93rd Highlanders cannot buy them anywhere. The star of the show is the Infamous Capt Nolan man its a Britains masterpiece, worth having even if you dont do the Crimean its superb.

That is quite the collection Bernard. Captain Nolan certainly doesn't look out of place either with the "older" releases and your commissions.

I hope you don't mind but I've enlarged your photo's so I could make out the figures better... A very nice collection you have there .

I gather from what you have said that you didn't have any luck with the 93rd. Have you thought about Dorset Soldiers as a source of painted sets or as castings?

Yo Surgeon General "SIR", had a look at Dorset for the 93rd Highlanders they look ok, Dorset seem quite high with their prices but its "Needs Must" if Balaklava is to be complete, but at least they look like they will match the Britains items.
