This isn't 'cutting edge' news, but I don't know that it ever got mentioned on the forum...
Treefrog Treasures has opened a second website dedicated solely to larger scale statues. We've had Khaki Army ones for several years now, but have now partnered with the good people at Ballantynes of Walkerburn to make their statues available outside the UK. Ballantynes produces their statues to order from their factory in Scotland, providing a wonderful array of figures, from ancient to modern, British to American, and even some amazing animals. Like Khaki army they produce bronzed resin figures, but they can also be printed or covered in an ivory finish. Heck, you can even get it in sterling silver if you have the dosh!
The entire range of Ballantynes is coming to our website (www.militarystatue.com), but it's taking some time to get them all up. You can see the entire range at www.bofw.co.uk.
Here is a very small sampling of what they have:
Thespian Warrior
11th Hussars, Officer, Charge of the Light Brigade 1854
British Royal Flying Corps Pilot, World War I, 1917
US Special Forces Soldier on Operations in Afghanistan
US Special Forces Soldier with Attack Dog, Afghanistan
British Army Challenger 1 Main Battle Tank
Flying Barn Owl
