A British "Tommy" and his wounded mate watch over the ruins of a French cathedral in case "Fritz" decides to return for Sunday service.
(Britains retired set #17633, broken-up concrete and WWI autochrome of Reims Cathedral as backdrop)

At it again huh, Randy? Thanks for all the good work and posting pictures of your collection and dios.

Thanks KV

I'm afraid I've caught the mini-dio bug. At least it keeps me out of trouble and on Santa's good list:D

I like it. Britains WWI items are a real hit with lots of collectors and you set this one up very nicely. I read on your other post where you described how easy it is set up these small dio's with some Woodland scenics and other accessories from other manufacturers. I hope to be discovering just how easy it is soon after the new year once my study is completed and cabinets are made. Thanks for the input.

Do you have or intend to buy more Britains WWI figures? If so, post some more pictures when you can, I'm sure we'd all love to see them. Personally, I think we need more Britains pictures posted on the forum.

Thank you Rev

I agree that Britains does take a backseat. I do plan to get some more of the WB WWI figures. I am especially interested in the Highlanders. I also have some Britains ARW and ACW from a few years ago which I will post.
The one thing that puzzles me about the new Rev War figures are the burgundy/grape color coats of the 71st Highlander sets(set 17836 for example) that are in stark contrast to the scarlet of set 17837. In all the ads both in print and online all are scarlet but in person some are almost purple. Do you know anything regarding this. I was all set to buy some but
am waiting to hear from Ken Osen whom I PM'd.
Please let me know if I can be of help with your dio projects when you are ready.
Randy
