Anyone know what the theme of this years Barzo,s playset?
I know TSSD will have a new set of Civil War figures, but nothing further, anyone know about this?
Also heard Conte may finally release his Viking playset.
Gary

Gary,
The only two people other than Ron who know the theme are not giving up that info and you and I both know who he is, our friend from the North.

Conte will be there and rumor has it the set will be there as well.......that's all for now.........

I know someone who did work on the new set, but he's not talking either.

George, if I was to rob a bank, I would do it with "our friend from the north".
I know he would never give you up.
All I can get from him is "I'll love it, best ever"
Gary

Your right, Winky.
He does get all the inside info and never gives it up.
Personally I think this secrecy thing is unnecessary, but on the other hand I like to be surprised.
We'll find out in less than 4 weeks.
Gary

Well, I talk to the other guy that knows three or four times a week and he's tighter then drum, at least on this subject.

I have to agree 100% on the secrecy thing, you'd thing they were protecting national security.

On Hobby Bunkers board someone is reporting that TSSD,s new set will be Civil War cavalry.
Sounds right as I new it would be Civil War, I thought either cavalry or artillary.
Nick if you read this sure wish you would do German paras!!
Gary

Anything from TSSD Civil War would be good. But Calvary is much needed. German Paras in the future, with maybe British Paras would be great. Mike:)

I would be on board for Nick to do German paras, other than the older Airfix set which were splended for their day, nothing else springs to mind for this unit. We need some new ones in plastic. As for the Red Devils, there are a bunch out there already but I would always be up for some more to stage that Arnhem debacle on the living room floor. Now, "Where is that confounded bridge?" Best regards to Percy and company.
Mike

TSSD has another teaser on thier site, this time showing a couple of figures under OTSN 2007, look really nice.

You wanna get double enthused about the show, read TSSD,s column about it.
Looks like they could have 2 new sets are am I misreading?
Gary

Go to Barzo,s website, there is a picture of a mounted figure with a raised sword with the date 9-1-07 underneath.
I don,t think it is a previously released figure. The figure looks to be an officer from the early 1800,s or late 1700,s.
What do you all think is the period.
Not to offend some guys, but I sure hope it,s not Napolianics, although I really don,t think Ron would do those.
Gary

It,s been pointed out to me, and I believe he is right, that the figure is previously released Santa Anna.
But could it mean an add on to the Mexican War set, one of his best.
Gary

I pulled out my Churubusco set and it is indeed Santa Ana.
