June 21st 1864. Cooper's battery prepares to go into action near the Avery Farm at the beginning of the siege of Petersburg.

One of the interesting things is that if you look at the background (the real soldiers ). Most of the soldiers are wearing slouch hats which is interesting considering this is the AOP and a Pennsylvania Unit.
