Hi all-
As part of an earlier diorama incorporating a small collection of Britains Deetail WWII figures and some vehicles from Ultimate Soldier, I created this small scene.
Reissued Marx buildings and a CTS farm house served as nice additions to the diorama. I've named the diorama "Battle at La Moselle" reminding me of the scene in the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown where Snoopy gets shot down behind enemy lines. Snoopy eventually makes his way to a French farm house where Charlie Brown and others are having their Halloween party (classic!)
Here's a few shots of the tabletop diorama with photo-edited backdrops:
Do some of you remember this great exploded building by Marx?
I love placing figures on the second floor of the CTS farm house. Is that the window Snoopy slipped in?
The Ultimate Soldier/21st Century German Cargo Truck is among my favorite vehicles - partially die cast with removable back tarp.
A marder pictured with new plastic base Britains Deetail figs.
Got to love the half track.
A firefly is no match for the crumbled German defense.
A German officer making his last strategic maneuvers in a hanomag.
An 88 may help them in their efforts.
