Most of the russians are FUBARS castings and I painted most of them myself there are a few of the infantry figures that I bought already painted from harold that he got back from the painting company he uses that were painted wrong and he gave me a good deal on them. I just had to repaint the facings that were mistakenly painted as artillary troops. No big deal and it saved me a few bucks and a lot of painting.
You can tell the difference in painting styles in the close ups.

There are a few other russian figures mixed in also that I picked up here and there, mostley from ebay. A couple are castings that I painted and others are castings I bought already painted. Some are frontline figures and there are a couple of russian made artillary sets I picked up on ebay and the others are Fubars that I painted myself.

I wanted to make the diorama even bigger and add even more figures to it but I ran out of room and couldn,t find a few of the figures I was looking for and forgot all about others I could have added but didn,t remember till after I was done.
I have a lot more pictures but didn,t want to over load you guys, I think i,ve done that already.:p
I have a different set up with the russians in 2 squares being attacked by cuirassiers and I have some closer shots also but I,ll wait a bit before I post them.
I,m not that happy with the cavalry attack, I should have added more french cavalry to it. I had a bunch more cavalry figures I could have added to beef it up. I could have added my K&C dragoons and various polish and french lanciers along with various other del prado figures

I,ll post more pictures latter I,m a bit burnt out from messing around with the pictures already.

Thanks guys glad you like them.

Fish that's awesome, you are feeling better, and the wife is away. That had to take quite some time to set up. Then the time spent photographing and down loading. From what I can see, your armies are growing stronger and stronger. I really like those redoubts, and the cannons. I don't know who is who, but it looks like an intense battle. As far as over loading, no way, those type of set ups need much photographing. Mike:)

Well mike if these kinds of battles need photo overload here it comes!!!:p
Here are a few more with a few closer shots also.

Beyond exceptional, really a museum quality display. Tim, the Lt., Panda, Morbshock, you gentlemen never cease to amaze me!!

The one thing that stands out for me ......is the way that all the different makes of figures blend in to make an outstanding display, the difference in scale, painting etc is hardly noticeable.

Jeff

The russians are attacked by french cuirassiers after the infantry attacks fail and they form squares to repel the french cavalry attacks. The french bring up some artillary to pound on the russian squares.

Who makes the French? Nice poses.

Wich ones??? There are various companies in the photos. The cavalry are K&C, britains, frontline and niena figures.
The artillary sets are 2 britains sets and russian made sets by I think niena? And 3 oryon figures with a del prado cannon.

I guess they would be the French line infantry.
I have many different french troops mixed in there. There are grenadiers, line troops, light troops, voltigers, old guard, chassiers, irish. The 54th line troops are by frontline if those are the ones your talking about???
