Tim,
Good grief! what an excellant display as usual
, are the Russians Fubar's castings and did you paint all those yourself?
Jeff
Most of the russians are FUBARS castings and I painted most of them myself there are a few of the infantry figures that I bought already painted from harold that he got back from the painting company he uses that were painted wrong and he gave me a good deal on them. I just had to repaint the facings that were mistakenly painted as artillary troops. No big deal and it saved me a few bucks and a lot of painting.
You can tell the difference in painting styles in the close ups.
There are a few other russian figures mixed in also that I picked up here and there, mostley from ebay. A couple are castings that I painted and others are castings I bought already painted. Some are frontline figures and there are a couple of russian made artillary sets I picked up on ebay and the others are Fubars that I painted myself.
I wanted to make the diorama even bigger and add even more figures to it but I ran out of room and couldn,t find a few of the figures I was looking for and forgot all about others I could have added but didn,t remember till after I was done.
I have a lot more pictures but didn,t want to over load you guys, I think i,ve done that already.
I have a different set up with the russians in 2 squares being attacked by cuirassiers and I have some closer shots also but I,ll wait a bit before I post them.
I,m not that happy with the cavalry attack, I should have added more french cavalry to it. I had a bunch more cavalry figures I could have added to beef it up. I could have added my K&C dragoons and various polish and french lanciers along with various other del prado figures
I,ll post more pictures latter I,m a bit burnt out from messing around with the pictures already.
Thanks guys glad you like them.
