Had been planning this set up for a long time. Finally got around to organize the figures and make a scenic base for one of my display cabinets.

Here an overall view of the battle set up. Lancaster troops to the left, Yorkist troops to the right, with Richard III charging mounted towards the Lancaster line.

Wow. What an incredible sight! Amazing job of staging these pieces

Great scene. Hope you left a little room for the upcoming casualties and artillery which should complete this amazing layout. Robin.

The partially mirrored background is really interesting in that it has the effect of visually extending your lines. Clever.

Hi Pete :)

No, can't make it this year :(

We were at SPURS first home game of the season today at Wembley - (we won - COYS) ^&grin

The Bosworth annual festival is always a fantastic event - Highly recommended :salute::

Cheers,

Roy

I like the mirror effect and as I did with the Plains of Abraham set up, I used the trees to block the reflection of items that should not be seen twice, as in this case the banners and personality figures. The images are tough as I would show up on the mirror!
But in real life the mirror effect looks much better than in the images.

I will definitely add some casualties and even an extra knight might make the scene, but never planned for the artillery. I like this series so much I would probably get the artillery, but display it separately in a shelf above this set up, that now has some EOI samurai. Might have to remove some of the figures included now and those can go on the other shelf. Although I love the melee effect of many figures in a small place. But casualties I believe would add a lot to the scene.

I had not taken out these figure from their boxes. Have been accumulating them since they came out, maybe 18 months or so? Maybe more. Once the main(at least for me) personality figures were out, I decided it was time set them up.
Getting them out of their boxes was amazing fun, as each figure is simply FANTASTIC! Initially I had planned for another level on the left side of the base, but as often happens you plan for a space and then once you start building it, it ends up being smaller that you had planned!
This is inside one of my larger(deeper) display cabinets, approximately 31" x 16 1/2" inside the cabinet.

Eventually I will do a JJD Saratoga set up... the accumulation begins for that project...

An excellent display of outstanding figures.I agree that the mirrors, used skillfully, create a great effect.Well done that man.
