No, this is not a movie, yet... but, just think of the possibilites and opportunity for a great film in the likes of "Waterloo" with Rod Steiger and Christopher Plummer. This film would have two magnificent screen roles to portray (Montcalm and Wolfe), actual historical setting that has been preserved for people to visit, great dramatic battle scene, tragic ending for both adversaries, multiple cameo and supporting roles... could be an epic!!!

Very interesting that you mentioned this Battle, for me it was the mostly stupid battle in between French and English in North America. If Montcalm waited Wolfe inside the City walls the English will never had take Quebec.

The time was running over for Wolfe with the approaches of the fall and the risk to be trapped on the Saint-Laurence River, he must take the city before October 1759. For his luck, Montcalm decided to face the British on the open field of the Plaines of Abraham
And that was exactly what Wolfe wanted.

Talk about a "brain-fart" for Montcalm! One has to wonder what so impaired his better judgement.

I could definitely see that as a movie, or at least as part of a movie. I read somewhere that there was a movie in the works about the Marines attacking Tripoli in the early 1800's. Some big-names agreed to roles, but then I think the studio shelved it. Likewise for a John Paul Jones movie that was supposed to star Mel Gibson.

John Paul Jones would be a superb candidate for a history-bio-adventure flick.
