Battle of the Alamo (1 Viewer)

You need to have the patience of a angel. A lot of work, but what a nice looking battlefield.

Totally amazing. Great research and tremendous execution. Your patience has clearly paid off.

Thanks everyone, it was alot of fun work. I really put all I had into it, since my wife had to like it enough for it to go in the living room. She loved it, so that made it happen. When I started it, she was skeptical. It will be in Wargames Illustrated in issue 310 in the news section, to my surprise. (ok, I am bragging a little) but its all in the Name of TEXAS!!!

But I also plan on jumping scales to 54mm or 1/32 scale to do some smaller dioramas around the house. I built one on top of my frig, I will have to show off one day. I sorta did a John Wayne Alamo diorama, but just shows the front of the chapel with about 100 painted 54mm figs (that I painted) , that I bought for my daughters while at the Alamo about a year ago. You know the bag of cheap figures, that no one wants,...well I gave them some life.

thanks for looking
