I collect K & C Napoleonics, Medieval Warriors, Pike and Musket, plus most of the theatres in WW2, but the sets I look the most forward to the most are the Battle of the Bulge range. They normally come put in November every year and I am wondering just what K & C will bring out? I have a wish list, includin00g.

Jeep with bazookas - Used by the 60th Infantry
M8 Howitzer
M29 Utility Carrier
German halftrack - troop carrier - even a captured one being used by the Yanks
Brummbar
German Paras

Some damaged/destroyed vehicles and a building would be great for the Ardennes as well.

I did day it was a wish list..........anyone else looking forward to the sets for the Battle of the Bulge?

Yes, how about some Brits in their winter gear. A relative of mine with the 53rd (Welsh) division spent his 1944 Christmas in the Ardennes.

Very good idea. The Brits and the Americans met in the city of Laroche when it was liberated for the second time in January 1945. see picture below

Hey Guy I know that corner in Laroche...I stood there in February of this year and there was just as much snow as in 1945...Magical..!! I love the Ardennes in the winter months!!.

Steve

PS...And yes i too would love to see some Brit items released for late 1944 early 1945, what about an M3A1 Halftrack filled with well wrapped up tommy infantry!!.

Yes, the British forces extended their lines to allow more US troops to deploy against the "bulge" and XXX Corps (I believe) moved to be a backstop for First US Army by covering the Meuse crossings. That was the good side of putting Monty in charge of the northern shoulder.

Yes I have always wanted a Brummbar, but I am guessing this tank would in the eyes of the manufacturer, not produce sufficient sales to justify production, but never say never. Robin.

Glad some people out there agree with me . However the Brits didn't use the M3 half-track - we used the M5, as did the Soviets - the US Army only used the M5 for training!

When I was at Sierra last weekend one of the guys pointed out that when it comes to German half tracks K&C has made one in gray (standard and ambulance), a camo (Normandy) version and an Afrika Korps one. The one that hasn't been made is the Bulge/winter one.

Correct but they have made a German Halftrack with the 75mm in it and the ones above are the type C and not the D version which was the one extensively used in the BotB.

See where you are coming from but unless there were a number of them 10 or more with a vehicle I think it would not be good.

I would like to see for the BOB series: German Paras and the US M29 Weasel

I stand to correct myself, of course there are some D Types for the desert and Normandy from K & C.

I will second that Harrie....The ubiquitous Weasel, a sadly neglected vehicle as far as toy soldier manufactures are concerned. and yet a vehicle that was widely used in Europe for just about any task that a G.I could dream up...!! Love to see one for Normandy and the Bulge, and then there is also the possibility of an ambulance version for both the above mentioned conflicts.....Wonder if KC will be the first to realease this little jem???. I hope so !!!!.
