I've been looking at John's work on this series and am considering collecting it. For those that have collected the series, what are your thoughts? Are the figures as good as the Wellington in India series? Do you have any book recommendations on the history of the battle/campaign?

Thanks,

Brendan

Brendan,

Not sure about book, but on a 7YW website there is quite a detailed page on this battle.

At the bottom there are references to couple of publications.

It will be interesting if John will be bringing out other figures for this battle, or you could possibly use the 'native forces' from the Battle of Assaye but that was 40 years later!

Figures are as good as the Wellington in India range in my view. But we need more variety particularly colonial troops.

Thanks for the link John. If memory serves me right, he did the Maratha infantry towards the end of the Assaye grouping. Perhaps they are still forthcoming?

These French troops were previewed a while back. There are to be versions released for India and F&I War in Cananda.
I'll be collecting the F&I War version when they are released.
