I just watched a great episode of battlefield detectives on the history channel last week about the battle of waterloo. If anyone is interested it will re-air on saturday dec.31 at 11a.m. This battlefeild detectives series is great. It goes back in time and disproves alot of myths and finds out what really happened. Its very interesting!!! I watched a few of them already and they were all good. Very well done documentary!!! Did anyone else see any of these.

I saw the one on Waterloo also it helps to see the battlefield a little clearer eventhough I have been there. The monument they built messed up the terrain quite a bit but it did give an interesting perspective to the field. I also have seen a few of the others. Good show!

Wow that must have been a nice trip !!!! Did you get to see hougomont also? I would love to some day go and see the battlefield. I also saw a battlefield detectives on the battle of little bighorn that was real interesting. They tracked the movement of the whole battle from spent shell caseing, and showed a disordered retreat,(rout)No heroic last stand, it was very interesting. It proved the indain version of the battle was what really happened and that custer got his butt kicked ugly and real quick! and that he was out gunned by repeating riffles.
