We are pleased to follow up the release of our Battle of Bulge range with another variant our Sherman tank with set BB002 US 75mm Winter M4 Sherman Tank, this time from the 10th Armored Division. Sherman Tanks from the 10th Armored, specifically Combat Command B and the 21st Tank Battalion, were among the first to arrive at Bastogne and played a key role in the defense of the city earning a Presidential Unit Citation for their actions there. Throughout the encirclement they suffered the same conditions and hardships that are normally attributed only to the 101st Airborne. Though the 4th Armored eventually broke the encirclement just after Christmas, elements of the 10th Armored continued to fight in the area until January 18th. We have changed up the "winter camo" pattern on this tank from a pure whitewash to more of a quick and dirty striped painting pattern that we've seen photos of which represents a bit more of a rush in applying the pattern given the circumstances. Like BB001, it also features the advanced superlative weathering of mud and frost on the lower hull and track setup. So for those of you who missed out on BB001, this is a second opportunity to get a Winter Sherman for the Bulge. Quantities are limited, so if you want one of these tanks we strongly advise you to get your order in as early as possible. Finally, we have received many questions on if we will make more of the original BB001 tank. We are not and it has been removed from our website catalog and no further models will be made.

Got my Pre-order in!!!! I went back and forth on the first winter Sherman and passed but not this one, the detail in the weathering, winter camo wasn't going to miss out on this one, as Matt mentioned in his statement on the Bulge range in general a few weeks ago on the First legion web page that this range will follow like the other WWII series with soldiers/vehicles etc., I would love to see some Winter long coated G.I.s following in close formation with the new winter Sherm on the attack!! where ever this range goes it's going to be fantastic!!

Sammy you will really like it. I The detail is amazing. I am hoping a tank commander will be released

Another superb M4! I have BB001 and it is by far the best painted tank of the 11 FL tanks I own.
I too am hoping for a tank commander to complement these beauties!

Really look forward to seeing this one in hand, I really liked the 1st Sherman but the winter camo on this one is so unique I can't recall seeing anything like it on any past Shermans be it HB, K&C, Figarti etc. Hope to have it by the end of the month.

A question for Matt, do you think there will be any winter tank riders to go along with the Winter Shermans?? be it this one or the first Winter Sherman??
