Three more USMC by K&C in January - Happy New Year all! My Tarawa dio is building but we should not lose sight of the opposing forces:

I have been quietly building up the Japanese forces, but they will be split between three different dioramas.^&confuse

ONE of course is the Pacific Island fighting .. {sm3}
The SECOND will be used in a "Fall of Singapore" diorama .. {sm4}
And the THIRD is the JN Navy sets on a carrier deck. .. ^&grin

But yes, the USMC sets will outnumber the Japanese on the Island Fighting for a while.
How can anyone resist these USMC sets ....

Hi Larry,
There are more Japanese in the pipeline...however it's worth remembering that generally speaking the Marines outnumbered the Enemy 2 or 3 to 1....At Tarawa 12,500 Officers and men of the 2nd. Marine Division took on approximately 4,500 Japanese (including some Koreans).

Elsewhere in the Pacific Campaign it was a similar story.

Well, Robin, using that logic, it means that Andy will make 12,500 Marines ....{eek3}
