I,m curious as to why britains choose to add beards to the nassau figure and the french grenadier figure? This kind of ruined the figures for me. Beards were not allowed by regulation unless you were a pioneer/sapper. Moustaches were allowed but not beards, with british troops being an exception. The british were not allowed beards or moustaches, except for sappers. I realize that on campaign they might be allowed to get away with a bit but I think on future releases you guys sould loose the bearded napoleonic figures. I would have bought multiples of that nassau figure and the grenadiers but the beards just killed the sets for me and I almost didn,t even pick them up at all, I hated the beards that much.
So please no more bearded napoleonics unless the,re pioneers.

Another reason to buy Zulu War figures. Beards? No problem.;)

I must admit I didn't know that about beards and moustaches. I just thought a beard for a sapper was more or less uniform. Not just being allowed to but having to have one.
One keeps learning interesting stuff here.
