Beau Geste Chicago (1 Viewer)

Actually, there were quite a lot of elephants in the hotel room occupied by Ana & Daniel:

There was one next to the laptop:

Two more in the night stand:

Some were carried away by happy collectors:

But the last time I looked, I still saw some:

One of them made it into my humble collection:

I suspect this is the original, but I need Ana to confirm:

Hands down: One of the best BG elephants ever !!!

And here the elephant from Gwalior (that made it onto my wish list as well):

Very very nice indeed Andanna. The Elephant with the tigers is my favourite although they are all exquisite. Is that Pat I see purchasing an elephant? I wonder what it can be :)

Thank u for pictures

Will be at East Coast Nov 1st

Maybe will see some

THANK'S AGAIN

Thank you all for the photos. Beau Geste had a couple of sets I really liked at the show. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo. It's the great white hunter in Africa theme. The hippo in the water is great. Did anyone take a photo of it?

Yes. That set sold very quickly:

This is a new line that Beau Geste carries - but in my understanding does not produce. They appear more toy-soldier like or "classic" compared to the Beau Geste figures:

I liked them a lot, particularly also the officer huntimng near Rorke's Drift.

But then we also have Beaui Geste's new figures to consider:

Choices, choices. Thanks to Ana and Daniel.

Thanks Andanna. They all look great don't they.

Sorry I missed you at the show.

Those figures are from a 'new' Four Feathers line. At one time they were made under the BG banner...but now the company is selling under its own name.

The sets are available for pre-order on our website.

Thanks very much for introducing the new company "Four Feathers".

Are these also made in Argentina?

Best, Raymond.:)

Yes, Raymond, they are made in Argentina. In fact, they are produced by Beau Geste. The line has its own sculptor and art director, but they are molded, casted, assembled, painted and packed by Beau Geste :)

Ana

Those Four Feathers figures look quite nice. I particularly like the Streets of Cairo set. Some of the sets on the TF site are pictured with diorama pieces. Is that just for show or are they included?

Hello Ana,

Thank you very much for your kind reply.

Best, Raymond.:)

Raymond,

These figures have a certain charm don't they. They're quite lovely. I'm giving some serious thought to the Streets of Cairo set. It takes you back to England's days of empire and reminds one of a busy market.

These are all very nice. Will there be more sets in the future featuring our Zulu friends :)

Brad,

You are absolutely right. There are some sets of the Victorian and British Empire era that possess a distinctly unique character with an almost irresistable charm. It just adds to the fun and joy of collecting.

Raymond.

I received as a present from a very good friend one of the Four Feathers sets, FF 01, Streets of Cairo, and a great thank you to her. Unfortunately, my friend is just enough of a tease ;) that I am now going to have to get the other Streets of Cairo sets from Treefrog :)

Brad,

A very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

That is a very nice set to receive as a gift.

Someone must have read your previous post on the Streets of Cairo.;)

Then again, Santa Claus must also be a member of the forum.:D

Best Wishes, Raymond.:)
