I saw this movie last night on TV. I haven't seen it since a kid and like other older movies, the beginning was quite slow. However, the movie was great, especially propping all the dead guys on the parapets. It also had a surprise ending! See this movie if you get the chance, you will enjoy it. "I promise you".

Which version was it--Gary Cooper, or Michael York and Marty Feldman :D

Or the one with Guy Stockwell and Doug Mclure, with Telly Savalas as sadistic SGT.

The original is the best.

Wow, I didn't realize there were other versions. This was the 1939 Gary Cooper movie.

The walls of Zinderneuf can withstand remakes as long as the original exists.:wink2: -- Al

I like this version the best, Telly Savalas stole the show.

Just saw March or Die the other day on cable, like that one very much.

"One of my men became restless"...........
