I had recently picked up some old K & C Napoleonics: two Napoleons, a set of Old Guard and one Belgian. I asked Shannon to bring out a BG sample because I wanted to see how it would go with K & C. Lo and behold, Shannon and Pete not only brought out a sample, they brought out two boxes as appreciation for my moderator work: wholly unexpected and unnecessary but very much appreciated. I also recieved a Treefrog Treasures t-shirt, which I showed to my son and received disdainful looks in return.
Anyway, to cut to the chase, I received BG 137A, French Foot Dragoons, 16th Regiment in Action with Officer and Drummer, Jena & Auerstadt, 1805, and BG 47A, Mounted French Chasseurs Guard Attacking, Waterloo 1815, and the're just fantastic sets. Can't say enough about them, except that Beau Geste is another bad habit with which I'll begetting involved.
The point of this whole meandering post is that as far as K & C goes, they seem to be a good match and I don't really see much of a difference, if any.
