Some one advised me to check wiht FoV if is possible to find a Flak Artillery 88mm. I would like to put one on my Battle of Berlin Diorama.

Thanks on advance.

What do you use for your rubble in the streets. Excellent work by the way.

Hello,

I use FOAM, modeling clay and the rest is sand. If you want to see more pictures go to www.handmadehistory.spaces.live.com when is open go to the link Reich Chancellery to enlarge the view, there is about 40 photos.

Thanks.

debrito,

These pictures seem a little out of focus and I prefer color but I do realize that B&W have a quality all there own that I can appreciate. I’m to keen on seeing mussel flashes created in a picture using photo software.

That said, I’ve probably have NEVER SEEN SUCH EXCELLENCE in a diorama scene in my life from the destroyed buildings, to there placement and the rubble is SUPERB!

Additionally, the camera angles in your shots adds to realism and go beyond telling a story, they’re chilling and make me feel very fortunate that I’ve never seen battle. These shots invoke feeling and maybe that’s why you’ve chosen to take these shots in B&W and a little bit out of focus. It doesn’t matter because it works for me.

GREAT JOB!

Carlos

Hello Carlos,

Thanks for the comments; in fact, I use a very simple camera with low resolution. In the future, when I'll have my Website done I'll try to add more quality pictures.

Thank again.

Hey Debrito,

Except for the Americans invading Berlin (you need to get some Soviets!), those pictures are amazing. I love how desolate those ruins look.

The FOV 88mm is very detailed and functional, however be aware that FOV pieces are a smaller scale than K&C so the 88 might not look quite right with K&C troops manning it. It would be better as a background piece.

Hello Canadian,

I know that there are no Americans in Berlin. But in the beginning I want to build the Battle of Bulge 1944, so I got theses soldiers. I change my mind after and decide to build Berlin 1945.

I think to buy some 88mm from Dragon plastic model 1:35 scale it is very nice and cheaper.

Thanks,

CHEERS:)
