For the last week I have been in central Siberia with temperatures averaging ten below without the wind chill. It has given me a new appreciation of the hardships endured by both sides on the eastern front. Since most of the members of this forum are avid military history readers we are probably familiar with the conditions at Leningrad and Stalingrad.

In your opinion what manufacture makes the best line of soldiers and vehicles from this theater?

Robert,

Sounds pretty frightful. Hope you've got the right clothes and all that.

There aren't too many who make Russian front. Your best choice would be First Legion, superbly detailed.

Hope you get back soon.

I have to agree with Brad, First Legion.

Hi Robert ,
Like they say a picture is worth a thousand words ;) and Franks photo speaks volumes ....I would side with the other two posters in recommending First Legion they are Fantastic .... Although they are not in winter gear First Legion is shifting there Russian Front range into cold weather mode and I'm sure we will soon see some M1941 Telogreika Padded Jackets running around  All the best Gebhard

Well , I think Rod just put and end to any further discussion  Case closed as they say . ( Great shots by the way Rod ;)) All the best Gebhard

:D I agree, Gebhard,
Rod and Frank teaming up here with their phantastic skills of presenting/photographing figures, how could Robert resist now ;)
