Always thought the Mitsubishi G4M "Betty" bomber would make a great warbird. Would be cool to see all those clear/glass canopy areas, especially the tail of the plane. I'm thinking this would make this "flying cigar" warbird very expensive though. I hope in 2008 we get to see some sort of new Japanese warbird(dont neglect the Pacific dudes).

Take Care

Andy is doing some allied Pacific planes so who know maybe he'll do a Japanese one. Would seem appropriate since we've had some German ones, the ME 110 and the ME 410.

A Betty Warbird would be just too nice. Waaaaaay beyond my means, but I would love to see some photo's of one just the same.
Cheers

If you look on Sager's website, you will see that the Dick Bong's P38 Lightning and the Doolittle Raider are only the first of several Allied Pacific Theater Warbirds. To date Andy has also done a few Japanese Zeros and a couple of Seiran Floatplanes with the new clear canopies, and they are spectacular (I have one of the Seiran Floatplanes, and have seen and held one of the new Zeros). I agree that the Betty would an absolute must, especially as it would look excellent being pursued by the P38, a la the death of Yamamoto!
