Hi guys,
Greetings from the Pearl of the Orient … A few random thoughts over the weekend …
1) NoliPoli’s C47 – Outstanding what a great model, I wonder if it was done by ARPHIL
the old company we used to use ?
It certainly looks very similar to C47’s (Dakotas) we made – right down to the
undercarriage.
2) Dick’s ( Winky’s ) Bridge Too Far … Another great, great model, I’m very proud I inspired him to build it.
Now in the photo Dick’s bridge is spread out on what looks like his delightful garden.
Why not dig a little, shallow narrow trench ( same length as the bridge ) fill it with real water and lo and behold you have the Rhine.
One other small suggestion get rid of the cheap plastic Germans and British Paras and replace them with some “real” ARNHEM’44 and Waffen SS. Think how great that would look!
Anyway great work … well done!
3) Winter 101 and/or GI’s.
Our upcoming BOTB GI’s can be either regular Infantry or Airborne – few, if any, shoulder patches were worn on winter uniforms. So you can use your own imagination
4) 8th. Army Answers
Lots of great new items in the works but No M3 Grants … Crusaders … or Aussie Infantry – sorry!
TTFN … Ta Ta For Now,
Andy C.
