I have added 4 more Union Infantry castings to the website for a total of 21 Union troops so far.Three more are on my painting desk so, there's 24 total. Also 2 unfortunate Yankee soldiers seen in the images here.I have 2 more wounded on the workbench and these will be offered in a 4 figure set.
Then some more Reb's before too long.My goal is to have 60 different figures by July.

Still working on a few other loose ends. There's always something to do, like PAINT.Spring has sprung. My discipline is not what it was, and off I go outside to do just about ANYTHING else!

Scott these are looking great! There are more of these? For those of you who don't know Scott has some great Napoleonics too. I have put some together and they have great detail.:)

Harold...those are beautiful...great lines on both sides...

are you going to the San Antonio show again?

Splendid Harold i like the Casaulty guys.....Got my box of troops just a few days ago.
All ready started painting on few figs will post some pics when done.
This line of ACW is just what i wanted infact they might just be the best darn CW figures out there in 54mm ......keep going Fub :).

Thank you all for the kind remarks.Yes Rob, They did come off very nice didn't they?I designed them for as wide a variety as possible with hats packs cartridge boxes interchangeable so a single pose has many variants.
They also match well with Britain's and Conte figures since those are what I already collect. My LAST ACW collection. There have been a few!
Here's a pic of one of the Rebal's #15 done by a real pro.
Carmen Cerra of Iowa has huge talent with a paint brush and all things modeling.
I wish I could load a bigger image so you could see the detail on the quilted blanketroll.

Two more Union at right shoulder .Variants of the same figure, one with double bag knapsack and the other with blanketroll.
The soldier biting cartridge is the same as the blanketroll fig, with different arms from the standing loading Union.
Painting on a few of these with reb box style packs and slouch hats, as well as some Iron Brigade variants with Hardee Hats.
Ragnar, those two samples look great! You paint better than I do.
John, If Mary says, WOW then I must have done something right.:)Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks Fub but hardly better..I have seen some of your painting that just blow's me away..always liked your no-nonsense wargame style of painting.
I realy wanted to do something special with that Reb but just ran out of time and in the end i just left it at that.
The bulk of my painting is just done for mass {much like your self}.
but once in awhile its fun to go that extra mile on a good well sculpted casting.
Maybe the next one?.......Nice addition's by the way.
Cheers
Rob,Ragnar.

I probably posted in the wrong place.Confusing myself resizing images to fit.
All this ACW talk and troops has me going again. The cave has part of the MULE SHOE displayed. All manner of troops from my collection, Conte, Britian's, TSSD, assorted metal kits including blackcat, IR and Shenandoah.
I think I'm going to reshoot the whole thing before I put it away.

Great set up Harold!:cool:Those new figures of yours go great with the Conte and Britains.

WOW ....I geuss i will be painting a few Blackcat kits today :).
More pics of the Mule Shoe please......You might want to start a ACW thread in the dio section {just a thought}.

I've managed to add 15 new conversions to the ever growing line of 54mm metal ACW kits I offer. Iron Brigade in Frock coats with Hardee hats.Theres a couple new Rebz too but I started painting them , which is what I need to do with these guys. Asking $6.00 Yankee funds each including shipping.
I can supply with Forage caps or in confederate gear as well.
Once painted I'll get them posted on the website.

Those ACW figures look great. Are you going to be doing any command figures (officers, color bearers, drummers)?

Walt

Thank you for the compliment.Command figures, probably not. I was looking to add more battle line poses to compliment the Britains and Conte figures both in factory metal and plastic I have in my own collection.
I have at least 60 Infantry poses and all the hats and packs etc fit any figure, so theres lots of variety , even before a modeler / figure converter gets started. Many variables and I enjoy that in my collections.
Commands are widely available.I think I'll just continue with rank and file at least for now.

Those Iron Brigade figures look really great!

Are these one piece castings, are the heads, arm, weapons, etc, seperate?
