Blackcat ACW Kit....and testing a new camera. (1 Viewer)

Testing out my new Camera could not change pic size on the Camera itself. so i had to edit it down a little on photobucket....as the pic size was HUGE .
Have been painting a bunch of ACW as of late and this Blackcat was a nice kit to build & paint.

Napoleonics are the true test for talent. However there can be many challenges painting ACW.

Hello Christopher they are Metal kits made up of about 5-6 parts....
Vamp yes some challenges painting ACW one thing i have noticed is i can paint Union troops while asleep.
But with the Confederate's i have to stop and think....Then theres's Zouaves have not tried them maybe one day!.

I discovered that the greys in the Confederate Uniforms have many different tonal qualities. I mean there are tons of yellows, browns and greens in the highlights. Learned a lot of variations in looking at Troianni pictures.
