Classic digger cartoons, my dad was a bit handy with the coloured pencils during the war here are some of his scribbles done during the endless hours between action with the 9th Division A.I.F.

Now I remember them, a bit of a stretch for the old memory though, these were funny at the time{sm4}, cheers, Robin.

Howie Turbo Squis.jpg Thats dem....your old man is handy with a pencil...got 'em down pat...my old man was in the Middle East and New Guinea but I dont know his unit...never got to see much of him.....do you scribble at all ?...i did a few cartoons on envolopes for beer money many yrs ago......found a good ref for a 8 inch Howie......good price too......see attch.....worth checking out....cheers TomB

Speaking of envolopes Dad drew on every letter he sent mum during the war and she keep every one of them here are some.
p.s re the gun looks like only software and not actual models?

Thanks a mint for your Dad's cartoons mate....I love that type of work...will put them into my " Never delete file's"......Software ! ! ! .... thought it looked too good for the price....anyway...I got heaps of photo ref from that site and I reckon I can do a reasonable effort on the gun...take awhile but I am looking forward to having a go at it........thanks for the envolope cartoons...cheers TomB
