Hi All

Bob Walker will also be hosting his Open House on Saturday November 3, and Sunday November 4, starting at 10am on both days.

Bob's house is located in San Jose, CA. Bob has one of the most unique and special collections of Toy Soldiers, and this is an opportunity is just a unique experience.

Bob’s collection, and it’s layout are both wonderful, and is to be seen to be believed.

Bob graciously opens the house for collectors to admire once a year.

Contact us for more details.

Hi Dave,

I took extensive photos last year. Please see my thread "Bob Walker 5th Annual Open House" under dioramas. My wife and I are driving up tomorrow and will attend both days. I will take additional photos, especially of any new displays. As I mentioned on the other thread, Richard Walker of Britains will be there, as will Ed Fongonilo of Edmund's Toy Soldiers. We are also hoping thay Bill Hocker will show up, too.

Hi Mike,

I have seen those photos a few times but its so amazing to see a collection that seems to be without end! I found some french figures of Naopleon and a Chasseur and a Life Guard in Winter Cloak at a junk shop here and am hoping he has something similar in his collection. Take a look at my thread on Cameo Collections and you will see them. What I am hoping is some one can ID them for me. The horses that came with them are all dmaaged and off their stands but I plan to fix that however it would be great to get an ID on them. Also found a very interesting set of soldiers that I may be getting this week more on that if the sale happens.

Have a great time at the Open House

All the best

Dave

Richard Walker from Britain's will be at Bob's on Saturday morning. After that he will be heading over to us, at Sierra Toy Soldier where he will be previewing new releases. Hope to see you at both events.

Hi Dave,

Actually, I knew that you had seen his collection before and had helped me make several, after-the-fact, deletions to my thread. I basically was saying that for the benefit of anyone who had not seen his collection before. I saw your cameo thread photos of those items. I will look, but with so many figures in his collection, it will be difficult to determine if he does have them. I think not, but I have been wrong before.

Thank you. I am looking forward to going to this toy soldier mecca; however, I go once a year and don't limit myself to once in a lifetime. Hope you can make it someday after you get back to the states.

Best regards,
