I know that Bocage and pretty much anywhere 2 miles from the Normandy beaches were renowned for their thick, dense brush, I was wondering if anyone has attempted a dio with such brush integrated in, and if so, what materials did you use for the shrubbery. Any feedback is appreciated.

From a fellow collectors display here in Western MA. He used a lot of the model RR lichen with some sticks mixed in on a hump of foam covered with fekt and some Model RR ground cover sprinked over it. Looks more than acceptable in a display from my perspective. Figures are K&C with poses that seem to be tailor made for fighting in the hedgerows.

Hello there!
You might want to take a look at the Hudson & Allen Shrubbery, or the pre made bushes we offer. Here are a couple of examples, and you can certainly make a dense hedgerow with the material if you wish.
