I have had this figure for many years. First made as a Tradition kit wearing trews, I decided to change it to one wearing a kilt (from Airfix) and also substituted the head (from Scalelink) and changed the pose. Then I decided to refurbish the figure sometime back but abandoned the figure in the stash. Recently, I came across the figure again and I decided to give it another go. So here he is, back to lead another glorious revolution (quite topical these days...:)). I think that I will stick to him wearing a kilt.

I removed the head and snipped of the legs. These are substituted with Historex legs. The right arm was also removed.

I found this fig parts and related spares to make the prince. Since I have the body and legs from Tradition, it makes sense to try and marry the pieces together. I am missing the head but I 'll find anoither substitute.

OK. Time to get really serious here. Given that the majority of the web images show him without a bonnet, I shall do likewise. I snipped off the bonnet and saved the small cap badge. Stuck this into some putty and put it into his right hand. Also decided to remove the tartan cape across the front of his jacket and will remodel the jacket. So I filed off most of the tartan.

There's not much original Tradition left but I like to 'rescue' old figs and make them my own unique figs.
