Hi All ,

I saw this semi-fictional movie about jazz legend Chet Baker. Hauntingly beautiful but it is semi-fictional.

Chet was a great trumpeter and one of the founders of the Cool movement, sort of a counter reaction to the be bop movement. His music really swings. His singing, however, is an acquired taste, sort of a high falsetto.

Some of my favorite albums of his are Chet Baker and Crew; Picture of Heath; and Russ Freeman and Chet Baker. Anything issued on Pacific Jazz is great stuff.
