So, I was in the attic getting all the Christmas decorations out. As I climbed down the attic ladder with the 12th large container (purely coincidental that we “currently have 12 containers), I thought to myself, “Wow, do we really need all Christmas stuff? I mean, one large container of purely Highland-dressed Santa’s isn’t weird, but the other 3 containers of Santas from other parts of the world is a little much.”
About that time I glimpsed my pile, some might say small mountain, of empty toy soldier boxes. I decided that discretion was the better part of valor and did not bring up the amount of Christmas decorations to my wife. That’s because right now we have 3 to 1 ratio of toy soldier boxes to Christmas decorations!
